You Can't Ignore Your Customers
Political campaigns are simply marketing campaigns on steroids. They have a product (candidate) they must push very hard in a very short amount of time against very stiff competition that is pushing just as hard. They must craft a message that people will respond to and position their product as the obvious choice.
Tall order. No wonder all the dirty tricks.
In the heat of such competition then, for the past month or so I have been shaking my head wondering why Guiliani ignored all the primaries and caucuses except for Florida.
You can’t ignore your customers and then expect to be their first choice.
